Hang Out With My Friends

I like to drink soju. I can not drink too much, but I enjoy to talk with friends, eat delicious food with soju. When I live in Korea, usually I enjoyed hang out with my friends. I told with them with drank soju, or went to the night club, went to the travel. I moved to Hawaii and then, I do not have any friends, so if I want to drink soju, I drink soju alone while I watched the Korean drama. But I realized that I do not enjoy by myself, I missed hang out with my friends. So I visited Korea at first time in 2 years and half since I came to Hawaii, 2018. I stayed in Korea about two weeks, and everyday I met my friends and drank soju. My mom said , “If you drink every night, you don’t come to my house, you go to stay at hotel!” T.T Anyway, I glad to met my friends and family too. πŸ™‚ came back Hawaii, I did not think about drink soju a few day. And now I miss my family and my friends again, so I have a plan to visit Korea again in May, but lately Wuhan Corona virus spread in Asia, so I am not sure… I hope it virus gone as soon as.

  1. Sounds like you are an alcoholic person, just kidding πŸ˜€
I could tell I am not a fan of alcohol, but I like the taste of soju.
My friends and I are going to Korean Restaurant almost every weekends, we enjoy talking and drinking soju there.
I guess, the taste here is different from the original one, right?
One of my childhood friends was married a Seoul guy long time ago, but I haven’t have a change to visit her yet.
I told her maybe next year I can whenever she asked,. It seems to be many many of “next year” already but I am still not going yet, Lol.

  2. What is soju? Is it strong alchohol? I prefer drinking wine. I like eating out with my friends, so I know how you feel. When I visit Japan, I always make schedule for having a lunch with my friends like you.

  3. I love soju too, especially strawberry and grapefruit flavor. I’m in love with Korean food. I used to make tteokbokki for my friends, and they said it tasted really good just like at Billion Pocha. Aileen, are you the person I met in Hello class last semester? I thought i saw someone like you last time in discussion group but it was only one day then I couldn’t remember? You look so beautiful, your husband must be very happy to have such a beautiful wife like you πŸ˜€ Don’t drink alone, it’s not good for you, why don’t you ask your husband to drink and talk with you, two is better than one.

      1. I just tried that class in one day a couple of months after I moved to hawaii, maybe spring 2019. But I didn’t apply after I gave it a try. I thought it’s you because as far as I rememebered, her name sounds like the name of my Korean favorite singer- Ailee.
Kaka, I think your tteokbokki is even way better then mine πŸ˜€
